How to Play

EuroMillions Plus is easy to play, as you don’t have to pick numbers specifically for this game. Instead, you just need to select the ‘Plus’ option when you play EuroMillions.

Your five main numbers will then be entered into EuroMillions Plus draw too. It costs an additional €1.00 per panel. If you’ve marked the Advance Play option to take part in multiple EuroMillions draws in a row, you will also be entered into every Plus draw for the same duration. You can purchase tickets up to eight draws in advance.

A ticket that has been purchased with EuroMillions Plus will clearly state “PLUS – YES” above the chosen numbers.

When the EuroMillions Plus draw takes place, it is entirely separate to EuroMillions so the same numbers can appear in both. The big difference in EuroMillions Plus is that only five numbers from 1 to 50 are drawn - there are no Lucky Stars.

Prizes

You win prizes if your original EuroMillions numbers match three or more of the five ’Plus’ numbers drawn. All the prizes are fixed amounts, so if you match all the numbers you will still receive €500,000 even if there are multiple other winners.

The following table shows all the different prize amounts, along with the odds of winning.

Prize Tier Odds of Winning Prize*
Match 5 1 in 2,118,760 €500,000
Match 4 1 in 9,417 €2,000
Match 3 1 in 214 €20

*Prizes will only be reduced in exceptional circumstances, when the total prize fund exceeds €3 million.

You can win a prize on EuroMillions and EuroMillions Plus on the same night, depending on the combination of numbers that are selected. The overall odds of winning a prize across the two games are 1 in 12.

The prizes for matching three, four or five numbers in EuroMillions Plus are far greater than the average payout amounts in the equivalent categories for the main draw. The odds of winning the jackpot are also far more favourable in EuroMillions Plus, so the top prize is won regularly throughout the year.
