Better Chance of Winning £1 Million
The Millionaire Maker raffle takes place alongside every EuroMillions draw, and is exclusive to UK ticket holders. Every time you play EuroMillions in the UK, you receive a unique nine-digit code for each line of numbers entered into the main draw.
In most draws, one code is randomly selected as the winner. If the code on your ticket matches it exactly, with all the letters and numbers in the same positions, you receive £1 million.
This Friday, however, there won’t just be one chance to win. Instead, there will be 22 winning codes. This improves your odds of becoming a millionaire considerably, while you could also land a prize in the main draw too.
The odds of winning a Millionaire Maker prize depend entirely on how many tickets are sold, so they vary from draw to draw. If 7 million tickets are sold on Friday, for example, the odds of winning will be 1 in 318,181, rather than 1 in 7 million if there was only one winning code.
Make sure to check your raffle code after the draw to find out if you are a winner, as players can sometimes just focus on their EuroMillions numbers and discard their tickets before looking at the Millionaire Maker result. Use the EuroMillions Checker to see how you have fared.
Jackpot Will Be Won This Week
The promotional Millionaire Maker draw will happen at the end of a week that is guaranteed to make EuroMillions history, with a record jackpot set to be paid out.
On Tuesday night, a jackpot of €230 million (approximately £191 million) will be on offer for the fourth consecutive draw, after it initially reached its limit on Friday 8th July. According to EuroMillions rules, the top prize can only stay at its maximum for four draws before it must be won.
If nobody matches all the numbers on Tuesday, the jackpot is therefore certain to be won on Friday. It could be that the €230 million prize pot has to be shared between players in the category below. Find out more on the Jackpot Cap page.
