This single second tier win marks the seventh time so far this year that just one player has won the entire second tier prize pool. This win is now the third largest second tier prize won this year, sitting behind a €1,515,237 prize won on 16th May by a French player and a €1,540,885 prize won on 18th April by a Portuguese player.
In addition to the fortunate Belgian winner, over 1.9 million players struck it lucky and secured a prize in Friday’s draw. The winners included three players who each won £116,852 (€163,855) by matching all five main numbers and 39 players who matched four main numbers and both Lucky Stars to win £4,494 (€6,302) each.
The additional EuroMillions raffle draws saw one UK ticket holder become £1 million richer after successfully matching the winning UK Millionaire Raffle code QLM446728 while a French player matched the code PH2764930 to scoop the €1 million prize.
As there were no top tier winners in Friday’s draw, the EuroMillions jackpot now stands at £25 million (€31 million) for tomorrow night’s draw. Follow the link on the Play EuroMillions page to buy your tickets online or, if you prefer, tickets can be purchased in person from an authorised retailer.
