The massive jackpot offered on Friday 15th August prompted a sharp increase in ticket sales and produced over 2.4 million winning tickets in total, up by almost half a million from the previous draw. Of those, twelve players won £27,576 (€38,210) each for matching all five main balls and a further 36 players matched four numbers and both Lucky Stars to land £4,596 (€6,368) each.
There were also wins of £152.70 (€211.60) each for 948 players in the fifth tier prize category where players correctly matched four main numbers and one Lucky Star while 2,454 players landed £58.90 (€81.70) each for matching four main balls. The remaining players won prizes worth between £2.40 (€3.30) for matching two main balls and £54.90 (€76.10) for matching three main balls and both Lucky Stars.
The biggest single win came in the Millionaire Raffle, where one lucky player successfully matched the winning code of JQL301077 to take home £1 million.
