17 players matched five main numbers only to win a third-tier prize of €41,805 (around £25,256) each, and another 219 players won €1,623 (around £980) each by matching four main numbers and both Lucky Star numbers. In total, more than 3.88 million EuroMillions prizes were won last Friday, and in the UK one player became £1 million richer by matching the Millionaire Raffle number PKD576977.
How much longer the current run of consecutive EuroMillions rollovers will continue for is anyone’s guess, but with each jackpot getting bigger than the last until it ends, the demand for tickets is sure to continue growing. None of the most overdue EuroMillions numbers made an appearance last Friday, so once again the main numbers that stats fans will be looking out for are 43, 02, 09, 21 and 49, and the most overdue Lucky Stars are 09 and 06.
The jackpot for the next EuroMillions draw this Tuesday 30 August will be worth around €97 million (around £86 million) which is a tantalising sum by any standard. Those of you who would like to give yourself a chance of winning it – or indeed any of the other prizes available – can play EuroMillions online right now. It only takes a few seconds to buy your tickets and once you have done so you will be just seven numbers away from achieving EuroMillionaire status. Enjoy the game and good luck!
