One of the UK Millionaire Raffle winners from the special draw on New Year’s Eve has come forward to claim their £1 million win. Vera Webber, from South Ockendon, found out that she had matched one of the 25 winning raffle codes on New Year’s Day but confused her £1 million win with the Lotto Raffle, a game played alongside the UK Lotto, and thought she had won £20,000. It wasn’t until her daughter Julie double checked the winning ticket that Vera finally realised she had won £1 million.
Vera, 69, plans to use her new found fortune to take her family on holiday to Disneyland and also wants to take a trip to Graceland to visit the home of her idol, Elvis Presley.
There are two £1 million prizes that have yet to be claimed from the 25 UK Millionaires Raffle draw which took place on Tuesday 31st December 2013, so we advise players check their tickets from the draw very carefully to see if they are one of the £1 million winners. A list of all 25 winning raffle codes can be found on the EuroMillions Results page.
