Friday’s winning EuroMillions numbers were 6, 8, 26, 43 and 49 with Lucky Stars 6 and 10. Two participants, one from Spain and one from the UK, matched five main numbers and one Lucky Star to win £562,697 (€777,680) each, while another seven ticket holders from Portugal, Spain and the UK won £53,590 (€74,064) each after matching five main numbers. The remaining winners scooped amounts ranging from £3.00 (€4.10) for matching two main numbers and £3,677 (€5,082) for matching four main numbers and both Lucky Stars.
In Ireland, a player matched the five winning EuroMillions Plus numbers to pick up a fixed award of €500,000, while in France, a ticket holder grabbed €1 million on the My Million game after matching the winning code of FD 854 2317. The UK had by far and away the largest number of winners on the night, with 588,300 players picking up a combined £3.9 million. In second place was Spain, where 500,688 participants shared €4.5 million. France, in third place, had 454,698 winners who took home a total of €3.2 million.
The EuroMillions jackpot is now at its highest amount since Friday 29th January, when a jackpot of €132.3 million (£100.7 million) was split by two ticket holders from France and Ireland.
