The main EuroMillions numbers last Friday were 11, 25, 27, 28 and 41, and those all-important Lucky Star numbers were 05 and 08. To win the jackpot it is necessary for players to match both Lucky Stars as well as the five main numbers, so although plenty of players came close to winning the triple rollover jackpot, none actually succeeded.
Fortunately the jackpot isn’t the only prize in the EuroMillions game. With twelve prize tiers in all, it is only necessary to match three numbers to pick up a consolation prize of some kind. 12 players matched all five main numbers and one of the Lucky Star numbers last week to land a ‘second prize’ of €343,657 (around £227,826) each. 10 more matched five main numbers only to win €117,029 each, and 186 players picked up a prize of €4,494 (around £2,979) each for matching four main numbers and one Lucky Star. The winning number in the UK-only Millionaire Raffle game, was QMC446537.
The total number of prizes won last Friday was over 2.61 million, so our previous prediction of the draw creating the highest number of winners this year was pleasingly accurate. And guess what? With an even bigger jackpot on offer this Friday we expect even more tickets to be purchased and even more prizes to be won.
If you haven’t yet checked your tickets for the draw last Friday then we urge you to do so because you just might have won yourself a consolation prize. Whether or not that is the case, you can then click here to buy your lottery tickets for the coming EuroMillions quad rollover game, and in doing so give yourself the chance of winning €80 million! Good luck!
