We don’t know who the latest EuroMillions jackpot winner is at the time of writing, and it could well be that they decide to keep a low profile rather than going public, but whoever they are we congratulate them on their €26 million success and wish them well for the future.
Of course, the jackpot winner wasn’t the only person with something to celebrate after the EuroMillions draw last Friday. 7 tickets won a second-tier prize of €237,782 (£162,108) each after matching all five main numbers and one of the two Lucky Stars. 11 tickets matched the five main numbers only to win €50,440 (£34,387) each and 43 tickets won €6,451 (£4,398) each by matching four main numbers plus both Lucky Stars. The total number of EuroMillions prizes that were won on Friday exceeded 2.79 million.
No ‘overdue numbers’ have appeared in the last couple of draws, so the most overdue numbers are still 35, 18, 49, 40 and 21, whilst the most overdue Lucky Star numbers are 05 and 01. The jackpot for the next EuroMillions game this Tuesday 27 March has been reset to €15 million (around £12 million) so it will be interesting to see if any of the overdue numbers will help someone to land the coming midweek jackpot.
