How the Ireland Only Raffle Works
The Ireland Only Raffle is a game which EuroMillions players in Ireland are automatically entered into when they buy a ticket. A unique code, consisting of four letters and five numbers, is generated for each line of numbers played. Ten winning codes are selected at random and, in regular draws, each player with a matching ticket wins €5,000.
From time to time, the Irish National Lottery also holds special draws where one of the winners receives an additional €1 million. The ten winning codes are put into a separate draw, and one is chosen at random to land a total amount of €1,005,000. The other nine players still pick up €5,000 each.
The last Ireland Only Raffle draw to offer a €1 million prize took place on Friday 24th November, when a ticket bought at SuperValu on Tramore Road in Waterford was picked out as the winner. Go to the Ireland Only Raffle page to find out more about the game and recent results.
Associated Draws Across Europe
Ireland is not the only participating country to hold special games alongside the main EuroMillions draw where players can become millionaires. In the UK, Millionaire Maker draws guarantee that two players will win £1 million in every draw, while one French player wins €1 million in every draw as part of My Million.
The Spanish El Millon and Portuguese M1lhão games offer €1 million every Friday night, while there are big prizes up for grabs in supplementary games in Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg and Switzerland. Learn more about special draws all over Europe.
EuroMillions Jackpot
Along with the various supplementary draws, EuroMillions offers 13 ways to win in the main game. You can pick up prizes for matching just two main numbers, right up to the jackpot for matching the full winning line. The top prize is rising quickly following a rollover in the latest draw, and you can choose numbers online now or go to any authorised retailer. Best of luck!
