The numbers drawn last night were 3, 5, 21, 36 and 44, with Lucky Stars 3 and 6, and one player matched the full line with a winning ticket purchased in the Algarve city of Faro. As well as the jackpot winner, there were four players from across the continent - two from the UK, one from Spain and one from Portugal - who matched five main numbers plus one Lucky Star to land £159,392 (€244,777) each.
The other prizes given away ranged from £2.90 (€4.50) for matching two main numbers to £21,213 (€32,577) for matching five main numbers, and there were over 1.7 million winning participants in total. Take a look at the EuroMillions Results page for more information, including a full prize breakdown and details of the winning Millionaire Maker codes.
Portugal is the fourth most successful EuroMillions country, but is now just one behind the UK following last night’s big win. There have so far been 364 jackpot winners in 989 EuroMillions draws, as the clock ticks down to the 1,000th draw on Friday 21st April.
The jackpot for the next draw on Friday will be £14 million (€17 million), and if you want to be in with a chance of winning you can choose your numbers online now or pop into an authorised retailer in any of the participating countries. Good luck!
