The EuroMillions results for Friday 22 October were 04, 05, 09, 11 and 39, and the numbers 03 and 05 drawn as the Lucky Stars. We have already said that two players matched the main EuroMillions jackpot, but one EuroMillions player in the UK also won a million by matching the Millionaire Raffle number, which was SBH574759.
13 players matched the five main EuroMillions numbers plus one of the Lucky Star numbers to each win a second-tier prize worth €256,531 (around £167,270). 14 players matched the five main numbers only to win a third-tier prize of €67,599 (around £44,078) each, and another 220 players picked up €3,073 (around £2,004) each for matching four main numbers and both Lucky Stars. More than 2.53 million EuroMillions prizes were won in total, so our previous prediction that the number of prizes won would increase due to the rollover effect was pleasingly accurate.
The EuroMillions jackpot has now been reset to its generous base level, so there is €15 million to play for this Friday 29 October, making it possible for someone to end the month as a brand new EuroMillionaire. None of the numbers previously highlighted as being most overdue to appear actually did in the last draw, so the most overdue main numbers are still 20, 14, 10, 23 and 07, and the most overdue Lucky Star numbers are 02 and 04.
Since our last news update the British press has reported that the UK winner of the EuroMillions Mega Jackpot rollover winner (won on Friday 8 October) has finally come forward after around 1,000 hopefuls tried to claim the prize without producing the winning ticket. Rumour has it that the actual winning ticket is jointly owned by four players and that they have opted for anonymity, but if any further details do come to light we will of course let you know.
In the meantime, play EuroMillions online today and we could soon be reporting news about your own jackpot win! Good luck!
