Draw Summary
An impressive jackpot of £52 million was put up for grabs for EuroMillions draw number 1,239, which took place on Tuesday 6th August. It had only taken four draws without a winner to push the top prize past £50 million, dating back to the eagerly-awaited draw on 19th July when a Spanish ticket holder scooped £96 million.
The previous draw on Friday 2nd August saw more than 2 million players from across Europe pick up prizes, ranging from £2.40 for matching two main numbers to £73,682 for winners in the Match 5 + 1 Lucky Star category. There were a total of eight winners in this prize tier, including one from the UK.
