Draw Summary

The largest EuroMillions jackpot for more than six months sat waiting to be toppled down on Friday 6th September. The top prize for draw number 1,248 was worth a phenomenal £125 million (€139 million), bigger than it had been since an Irish family won €175 million (£152 million) in February.

The latest massive jackpot has been created by a run of 13 rollovers, dating back to the draw on Friday 19th July when a Spanish ticket holder landed €107 million (£96 million). Another rollover ensued in this draw, despite more than 39 million entries being submitted from across the nine participating countries.

More than 3.1 million of those entries ended up being prize winners, including six lucky ticket holders who matched five main numbers plus one Lucky Star to land £170,093 (€287,720) each. However, nobody could quite scoop the jackpot, which will now jump even higher for the next draw.
