Draw Summary

The EuroMillions jackpot has been climbing higher and higher over the past few weeks, leading to one of the most hotly-awaited nights of the year for draw number 1,249 on Tuesday 10th September, as players from London to Lisbon went in search of a £133 million (€149 million) payday.

It was one of the largest jackpots in history, and the biggest since a Superdraw in February helped to create a €175 million (£152 million) prize - which was gleefully snapped up by a syndicate from Ireland. The most recent big win came when a Spanish player landed €107 million (£96 million) on Friday 19th July.

Fourteen consecutive rollovers later, this promised to be an exciting draw and it ended up delivering more than 2.6 million prizes. There were three ticket holders in the Match 5 + 1 Lucky Star category who won €482,131 each, but the jackpot rolled over again to hit £143 (€162 million) for the next draw.
