Draw Summary
After the excitement of the last draw, in which a huge jackpot was won and over £20 million was awarded to UK players, the top EuroMillions prize has reset to its starting value of £15 million (€17 million) for draw number 1,235 on Tuesday 23rd July. Another jackpot win would see the first back-to-back jackpot winners of 2019 and continue the excitement generated by last week’s draw.
The previous draw on Friday 19th July is a tough act to follow. It saw a single player in Spain scoop the entire £96 million [€107 million] prize. Over 34 million people across Europe participated in that draw, but only one player from Castilla-La Mancha matched all five main numbers and both Lucky Stars to clinch the bumper jackpot.
The winning ticket was revealed to have been sold at Loteria Dulcinea de Oro in Ciudad Real. The nine-figure sum is the largest to be won in its region, and the fifth-largest to ever be won in Spain!
The jackpot win was not the only news to come of Friday’s explosive draw; 20 UK millionaires were also minted in a special Millionaire Maker Raffle. Combined with the value of all UK prizes won in the main draw, over £23 million was won by around 900,000 lucky entrants.
