French Player Wins €109 Million EuroMillions Jackpot

After a run of eight consecutive rollovers, a single ticket from France matched all the winning numbers on Friday night to land a EuroMillions jackpot worth €109 million.

The numbers drawn on Friday 1st September were 4, 5, 35, 37 and 43, with Lucky Stars 5 and 6. More than 2.2 million players across Europe picked up prizes - go to the Draw Results page to see all the details.

No more information was released about the winning ticket immediately after the draw. The lucky player will now have 60 days to come forward and claim their prize.

It is the largest jackpot to have been won in France so far this year, although someone from the country did claim a third of a €159 million prize back in May.

France has been the second most successful EuroMillions country in history - in terms of jackpots won. Friday’s win was the 123rd of all time, putting France within two of the UK. Go to the Winner Statistics page to find out how many jackpots have been won by all of the participating countries, plus much more.

September has had more jackpot winners than any other month, and it promises to be another special month ahead with one big payout already.

The month will finish with a €130 million Superdraw on Friday 29th September, while there will be chances to win every Tuesday and Friday as normal.

You can take part online or by visiting an authorised retailer in any of the participating nations. Check the results after every draw to find out if you are a winner.
