The EuroMillions results on Friday 1 July were 08, 11, 23, 31 and 46, and 08 and 09 were selected as the Lucky Stars. 14 players came within one Lucky Star of winning the jackpot and won a second-tier prize of €241,234 (around £159,129) each as a consolation. 28 players won €40,206 (around £26,521) each by matching five main numbers only, and in total more than 5.67 million EuroMillions prizes were won, which is a staggering number.
Of course, all of that talk about future possibilities doesn’t change the fact that there is around €171 million (around £154 million) to be won this Tuesday 5 July. Our EuroMillions Statistics page reveals that the main numbers that are ‘most overdue’ to make an appearance are 07, 43, 34, 32 and 18, whilst the most overdue Lucky Star numbers are 07 and 01. The number 07 appears twice in that last sentence, so maybe that mythically ‘lucky’ number could play a role in helping someone to win a major prize this week.
