The jackpot for Friday’s draw was £114.5 million (€129.2 million) and the numbers drawn were 22, 31, 36, 38 and 44, with Lucky Stars 1 and 11. Over 2.7 million players across Europe picked up prizes, including one UK ticket holder who matched five main numbers plus one Lucky Star to win £1.1 million.
The other prizes ranged from £3.10 (€4.60) for matching two main numbers to £34,031 (€49,825) for matching five main numbers. Go to the EuroMillions Results page for a full prize breakdown, plus details of all the supplementary draws in the different participating countries.
EuroMillions Jackpot Cap
The jackpot is now steadily climbing up the list of the largest prizes to have ever been offered on EuroMillions, fuelling increased interest all over the continent. The top prize could also continue to soar for a few more draws yet, as the game’s jackpot cap is a gigantic €190 million.
Once the jackpot hits €190 million, it will remain fixed at this level and all the funds which would normally go into the top tier are instead funnelled down into the next tier in which there are winners. The jackpot can stay at €190 million for a maximum of five draws, but if nobody matches all five main numbers and both Lucky Stars in the fifth draw then the full amount will be split between winners in the next tier. Visit the EuroMillions Jackpot Cap page to find out more about how it works.
While there is a chance the top prize could keep rising, the increased level of participation which comes with a nine-figure jackpot also makes it very possible that someone will win on Friday. If you would like to be that lucky winner, you can join a syndicate online now or go to an authorised retailer in any participating country.
