15 tickets matched all five main numbers and one of the Lucky Star numbers to win a second-tier consolation prize of €142,395 (£99,843) each. That’s not really comparable to €53.76 million, but it should certainly be enough to give the winners concerned a well deserved holiday or two as well as quite a few shopping trips. 26 tickets matched all five main numbers, but didn’t catch either of the two Lucky Stars, so the owners of those tickets won a smaller prize of €27,384 (£19,201) each.
There were 141 winning tickets at the fourth-tier prize level, and each of those won €2,525 (£1,770) by matching four main numbers and both Lucky Stars. Another 2,114 tickets matched one Lucky Star less to win €147 (£103) each. The total number of EuroMillions prizes won on Friday was 3,712,549, and that doesn’t include the separate Millionaire Raffle prize that made one UK player £1 million richer. The winning Millionaire Raffle number this time was SKQ582339.
Just one of our overdue numbers appeared in the draw last Friday, and that was the main number 13, which proved very lucky for the jackpot winner as well as for many of the consolation prize winners. The most overdue main numbers are now 49, 40, 21, 02 and 19, and the most overdue Lucky Star numbers are 01 and 04.
Congratulations once again to the jackpot winner in Portugal and also to anyone else who won a prize last Friday. And for those who want to have a go at winning the brand new jackpot of €15 million (around £12 million) this Tuesday 17 April, all you have to do is play EuroMillions online. Have fun and good luck!
