EuroMillions Rollover for Bigger Jackpot this Friday

The EuroMillions jackpot rolled over on Tuesday 17 April, so players will have an even bigger jackpot of around €26 million (around £21 million) to play for this Friday 20 April. The EuroMillions results on Tuesday were 10, 28, 33, 48 and 49, with the numbers 01 and 10 drawn as the Lucky Stars. Regular readers who follow the ‘overdue numbers’ that we often highlight may have noticed the appearance of two such numbers on Tuesday, and those were the main number 49 and the Lucky Star number 01.

Despite the appearance of those two overdue numbers, no player won the jackpot and only one ticket managed to match all five main numbers and one Lucky Star. That gave the lone winner at the second-tier level a fantastic prize of €945,978, so whoever won that sum will no doubt be delighted. Five tickets matched five main numbers without either Lucky Star to win a third-tier prize of €63,065 each.

You will note that we haven’t given any prize figures in pounds sterling so far, and that’s because no British tickets won a prize at the levels we have yet discussed. Of course, one ticket bought in the UK did win the Millionaire Raffle prize of £1 million, and the number to thank for that on Tuesday was TKY310787.

There were 25 tickets that matched four main numbers and both Lucky Stars on Tuesday, and each of those won €6,307 (£4,338). Another 540 tickets won €255 (£175) by matching four main numbers and one Lucky Star and 1,164 tickets matched four main numbers only to win €118 (£81) each.

With two overdue numbers having been drawn on Tuesday, the main numbers that are now most overdue to appear are 40, 21, 02, 19 and 41, and the most overdue Lucky Star numbers are 04 and 11.
