There were 15 winning tickets at the second-tier prize level last Friday and each of those won €177,060 (£116,013) by matching all five main numbers and one Lucky Star. 23 tickets matched five main numbers without either Lucky Star number to win €38,491 (£25,220) each and another 292 prizes of €1,516 (£993) were won at the fourth-tier level by tickets matching four main numbers and both Lucky Stars.
Last week we said that we expected the total number of prizes to be won in Friday’s EuroMillions game to exceed the 3.22 million prizes won on the preceding Tuesday, and we are happy to confirm that our expectations were met in full. The total number of EuroMillions prizes won on Friday 7 October was more than 4.21 million, so almost a million extra prizes were landed.
None of the numbers previously highlighted as being ‘most overdue’ to make an appearance were drawn in the game last Friday so it will be interesting to see if any of them come up in the next game this Tuesday. The most overdue main numbers to look out for are 43, 41, 29, 11 and 03, and the most overdue Lucky Star numbers are 04 and 09.
The winner of the €117 million jackpot has already lodged their claim with lottery officials in the UK but so far no further details have been released. If the winner (or winners, if the ticket was owned by a syndicate) goes public then we will obviously bring you more information as and when it is released. In the meantime you will probably want to have a go at winning a EuroMillions jackpot of your own, in which case you can play EuroMillions online right here. Enjoy the €15 million jackpot game this Tuesday and good luck!
