Draw Summary

Two months of rollovers brought the EuroMillions jackpot to a massive £155 million (€173 million) for the draw on Tuesday 17th September. Sixteen draws had been and gone since a Spanish player won a £96 million (€107 million) jackpot in July, leading to one of the biggest jackpots of 2019 and a continuation of one of the most exciting years in the history of EuroMillions.

Players across all participating countries will have been expecting the jackpot to be won but it wasn’t to be, as it rolled over for the 17th consecutive time to close in on the €190 million jackpot cap. The new estimated total fell just short at €188 million, but there was the real possibility that strong ticket sales could see the jackpot readjusted to hit the cap.

There may have been no jackpot winner but it still proved to be a lucrative night for EuroMillions players across Europe. Over €19 million was handed out in prize money, including £3.8 million to UK players, and that’s without taking into account the millions won on supplementary games such as the UK Millionaire Maker raffle. The highlights were the seven players that hit five numbers plus one Lucky Star; two UK players did so to win £146,767, and the five other winners took home €231,742 each.
