Once the jackpot hits its cap, it can only stay at €190 million for a maximum of four draws before it has to be won in the following draw. Here’s more on how the jackpot cap works.

The current jackpot has overtaken famous EuroMillions winners Adrian and Gillian Bayford, who scooped £148.6 million in 2012. Though the jackpot had reached its cap of €190 million, the exchange rate at the time resulted in a reduced jackpot for the Suffolk couple.
18:53 - Though the jackpot is estimated to be £155 million, its actual size could be even larger. Estimates are made based on how many tickets are expected to be sold, so the more tickets that are sold, the larger tonight’s jackpot could be. The estimate has already been increased once today, from £152 million - becoming the largest EuroMillions prize of 2019! The previous top spot went to a £152.2 million jackpot, which was won in February by an Irish syndicate.
18:20 - The most expensive season tickets in the Premier League are Tottenham Hotspur’s, at £1,995 per head. £155 million would be enough to buy 77,000 of them – 15,000 more than there are seats in the stadium!
