Draw Summary
The EuroMillions jackpot reached its €190 million cap ahead of the draw on Tuesday 24th September 2019, setting up the prospect of a record-breaking night in which players all over Europe stood to win big. It was only the fourth time in history that the €190 million jackpot cap had been hit, following on from the most recent occasion in October 2017 when one Spanish player ended up winning it all.
With the top prize unable to climb any higher than €190 million, those funds that would normally have boosted the jackpot even further were instead allocated to the next winning tier below. This meant that players had a better chance than ever of becoming millionaires, as they did not even have to match all the numbers to pick up a nine-figure win.
There were no jackpot-winning tickets on the night, but three players from Austria, Belgium and the UK each took home £3,631,906.10 (€5,012,664) for matching the five main numbers plus one Lucky Star. Another 16 participants matched five main numbers without a Lucky Star to win £20,775 (€28,674) each, while more than 3.1 million prizes were given away altogether. With the jackpot rolling over for a record 19th consecutive time, it also gave players another chance to land the maximum €190 million jackpot on Friday 27th September. Ticket sales will close at 7:30pm on Friday. It's recommended that those wishing to purchase entries for the draw do so early, to avoid any last minute delays which could result in missing out on this record jackpot. Good luck to all players!
