EuroMillions Results Live: Tuesday’s £167 Million Draw

A record jackpot was up for grabs in the EuroMillions draw on Tuesday 24th September. Look back on the live updates to see what happened as the winning numbers came in.

22:00 - That’s all for tonight’s live coverage. Thanks for following the updates and congratulations to all the winners. Join us again on Friday to see if the record jackpot will be won!

21:55 - There are just three days to wait until the next draw. The jackpot will be £167 million, so enter now if you want to try and become the latest big winner.

21:50 - The prize breakdown for the UK is now available. There were 946,058 winning tickets in the country across all the prize categories. Check out the EuroMillions Results page for more information

21:30 - The UK Millionaire maker code for tonight is JRGG37609.

21:25 - There has never been a sequence of rollovers like this in EuroMillions history. It has now been 19 draws since the last winner - a Spanish player back on 19th July.

21:18 - One lucky UK player has won in the second tier for matching five numbers and one lucky star. Three more have won by matching five balls and 12 players have matched four balls and two lucky stars. Were you one of those lucky winners? Check your tickets here now!

21:13 -The full prize amounts will be in soon, but here’s some more information about how many players were in the top three tiers:

Match 5 + 2 Lucky Stars: 0 winners.

Match 5 + 1 Lucky Star: 3 winners.

Match 5: 16 winners

21:07 - It’s a rollover! There are no winning tickets tonight in the Match 5 + 2 jackpot tier. The top prize will remain at €190 million (£167 million) for Friday night’s draw.

21:00 - If you have won a prize tonight, make sure you know what to do next. Go to the How to Claim page to find out how to receive your winnings.

20:45 - We’ll find out very soon whether the jackpot has been won or whether it has rolled over for the 19th time in a row. Remember that there will be some huge prizes below the jackpot as well tonight due to the cap.

20:33 - Are you happy with those numbers? You can also use the Ticket Checker if you are not sure whether you’ve won a prize or have multiple entries to check.

20:25 - The results are in! Tonight's winning EuroMillions numbers are: 2, 33, 42, 47, 48 and Lucky Stars 1 & 2. Head to the results page for more details.

20:15 - The winning numbers should be announced in the next few minutes. Get your tickets ready to see if you are a winner.

19:50 - Ticket sales are now closed and the draw is coming up very soon. Are you feeling confident?

19:40  - The jackpot is even so big that only one football transfer has ever been larger – Neymar’s move to Paris St Germain for a reported €222 million (£198 million)!

19:30 - It’s hard to wrap your head around just how big this jackpot is. But if you are lucky enough to win, you’d become richer than Ed Sheeran, who is worth £160 million according to the 2019 Sunday Times Rich List. You’d have enough money to buy one of the UK’s highest-valued properties, buy a private island or have a party in space.

19:00 - While the maximum jackpot is €190 million, the current exchange rate means that it is worth around £167 million. A UK winner would therefore become the biggest in the country’s history. When Adrian and Gillian Bayford won the maximum jackpot in 2012, they ‘only’ took home £148 million. Chris and Colin Weir from Scotland are actually the UK’s largest winners, having bagged £161 million (€185 million) in 2011.

18:45 - Where will tonight’s jackpot go? Millions of entries will be purchased across all over Europe, and the chances of winning are exactly the same for each one.

18:30 - The jackpot has only ever reached its €190 million cap on three previous occasions, most recently in October 2017 when a Spanish player went on to win the full amount.

18:15 - The jackpot can still roll over tonight because it is the first draw at the cap. If nobody wins, €190 million will again be put up for grabs on Friday evening. It can stay at this amount for a maximum of four draws before it has to be won in the following draw, so the latest we could have a winner is Tuesday 8th October.

17:42 - The EuroMillions jackpot cap is €190 million and effectively means that is the maximum that can be offered. The jackpot for the last draw ended up just short on €189.6 million, so only a bit more money has been added to the top prize for tonight to take it to the cap.

The remaining funds that would normally have gone to the jackpot will instead be allocated to the next prize tier with winning players, most likely the Match 5 + 1 Lucky Star category. As the prize fund here will be far larger than usual, it means you could win millions without having to match the full line.

16:45 - So, why is tonight’s draw so special? Well, if the sound of possibly winning £167 million isn’t attractive enough, the big thing about this evening is that EuroMillions has now hit its jackpot cap.

16:15 - If you've been sat at home or work all day thinking about what you would spend £167 million on then we would love to hear from you! Get in touch on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram and tell us what the first thing you would buy if you won the jackpot tonight.

15:35 - Here’s a quick look at the timeline of events as you can expect them tonight (UK time):
