M1lhão
M1lhão (‘The Million’) is a game played alongside EuroMillions in Portugal. It guarantees that at least one lucky player will become a millionaire every Friday night.
You are automatically entered into M1lhão, or ‘Milhão’, whether you play EuroMillions on a Tuesday or Friday. View the latest M1lhão results and check your codes to find out if you are a winner.

Use the M1lhão Checker to discover if you have won. Type your code into the space provided and the Checker will compare it to the official results. Check your codes carefully - if you have an exact match with a winning code in the correct order, you’ve won €1 million.
M1lhão Checker
† The outcome of the Milhão Checker does not prove you are a winner. You must have a valid ticket to be able to claim a prize. While we make every effort to ensure that the Checker is accurate, we do not accept any liability for errors or omissions in the information provided or any loss resulting from any such error or omission.

How it Works
When you play EuroMillions in Portugal, it also gives you direct entry into the M1lhão raffle. It costs €2.50 for a EuroMillions ticket, with €2.20 going towards the main game and €0.30 going towards M1lhão. You cannot take part in M1lhão without also playing EuroMillions, and vice versa.
Every ticket purchased for both a Tuesday and a Friday EuroMillions draw is entered into the M1lhão draw on the Friday evening.
A code of three letters and five numbers is produced for every line of EuroMillions numbers you play. One winning code is selected at random every Friday night, in an electronic draw that takes place at the same time as the main EuroMillions draw. If the code on your ticket matches the winning one exactly, you receive €1 million. However, there is stamp duty at a rate of 20 percent on M1lhão.
The structure of the M1lhão code is different to the one for European Millionaire Maker draws, which feature a four-letter, five-digit code beginning with the letter ‘P’ for any tickets purchased in Portugal:

Special Draws
Occasionally, the Portuguese National Lottery (Jogos Santa Casa) increases the number of prizes that it distributes with the M1lhão game.
