While most fans will now turn their focus towards the next draw, the jackpot winner can start to consider what they will do with their new-found wealth.
Update: The winner has staked a claim for the jackpot over the weekend, the UK National Lottery has confirmed. The validation process will now take place before the money can be paid out.
The winner now faces a decision over whether to go public with their identity or remain private.
Hot Streak For UK Players
The big win maintains a hot streak for UK players in 2022, following the record £195 million jackpot success in July and three other payouts of more than £100 million since the start of the year.
A Superdraw on 9th September bumped the jackpot back up to €130 million, and it was quickly motoring back towards €200 million following a fortnight of rollovers. It could have gone on to reach its new cap of €240 million and set another record, but it has now come toppling down following the latest win.

The jackpot will now reset to €17 million, with draws continuing every Tuesday and Friday night. It may soon get into nine figures again, or it could be that another Superdraw is scheduled later in the year.
You can take part in EuroMillions online or by visiting an authorised retailer in one of the participating countries.
