Double Rollover Jackpot for Tuesday EuroMillions Players

Although two of the main numbers drawn in the EuroMillions game on Friday 5 October had also been drawn in the previous game, no player was able to catch all seven numbers to win the €26.8 million (£21.7 million) rollover jackpot that was on offer. That means players will have a double rollover jackpot estimated to be worth around €34 million (around £27 million) to try and win this Tuesday 9 October. Will someone finally achieve the first Tuesday jackpot win since June, or could we be heading for a triple rollover game this Friday? Only time will tell!

The EuroMillions results for Friday 5 October were 09, 16, 18, 19 and 21, with the numbers 02 and 03 featuring as the Lucky Stars. The repeating numbers we referred to a moment ago were the main numbers 16 and 21, and statistics fans may also want to note that the number 19 and the Lucky Star number 03 which also appeared on Friday are now among those most often picked (along with the main numbers 50, 04, 12 and 38 and the Lucky Star number 05). The most overdue numbers at the time of writing 47, 32, 40, 08 and 02, and the most overdue Lucky Star numbers are 05 and 10.

Whilst the jackpot on Friday managed to evade players everywhere, six EuroMillions tickets were able to nail down the five main numbers and one of the Lucky Star numbers to win €296,795 each. Another 13 tickets matched five main numbers only to win €45,661 (£32,272) each and 94 tickets won a fourth-tier prize of €3,157 (£2,232) each by matching four main numbers and both of the Lucky Stars.

As you would expect in a EuroMillions game that offered a rollover jackpot worth almost €27 million, ticket sales for Friday’s draw were strong. So strong, in fact, that there were 3,261,570 prizes won across all of the available prize tiers. How many prize winners there will be this Tuesday isn’t something that we will know until after the event, so if you fancy your chances of having some good fortune in the midweek draw click here to buy your tickets and good luck!
