12 tickets matched the five main numbers with no Lucky Star to win €49,269 (£34,166) each, and another 62 tickets won €4,768 (£3,306) each by matching four of the main numbers and both Lucky Stars. There were more than 2.87 million EuroMillions prizes won in total, and as always the Millionaire Raffle game in the UK created one winner of £1 million – this time the winning number was ZWV447087.
Our EuroMillions Statistics page tells us that the most overdue main numbers right now are 03, 13, 10, 49 and 08, whilst the most overdue Lucky Star numbers are 06 and 10. That will no doubt encourage anyone who likes to include low numbers among their EuroMillions selections, but of course whether any of these overdue numbers actually make an appearance this week is entirely a matter of luck.
There are now just four EuroMillions draws to go before Christmas, so many players are choosing to buy themselves one or more additional tickets in an effort to improve their chances of winning a big prize before the festivities begin.
Whilst we are on the subject of Christmas, we should point out that there is still time for players to participate in the special El Gordo lottery draw for December. This is the biggest lottery game in the world as far as the value of prizes is concerned, and over $3 billion (yes, $3 billion!) will be paid out to winners in December 2011. The odds of you winning any prize at all in this game are around 1 in 6, so if you are interested in taking part please feel free to visit our dedicated El Gordo Lottery page for further information.
Whatever lottery games you choose to play this week, be sure to play online so that your entries are as secure as possible and good luck!
