All nine participating nations enjoyed success but top billing belonged to Spain in terms of the amount of money won, as €4.4 million was shared between 537,932 players. The UK bagged a total of £2.7 million but actually had more winners, making it a great night for 570,288 ticket holders from the country.

The jackpot will now grow to £37 million (€46 million) for the next draw on Tuesday night, giving players from London to Lisbon another chance to win an astonishing eight-figure sum.
