EuroMillions Results for Tuesday 10th May 2016

One lucky EuroMillions ticket holder from Portugal snatched a stupendous jackpot of €73 million (£57.5 million) on Tuesday 10th May, to bring an end to a run of seven rollovers and transform their lives in an instant. Over 1.8 million players from across the continent also had reason to smile after bagging prizes on a magnificent night.

The winning numbers were 2, 26, 27, 40 and 49 with Lucky Stars 5 and 10. As well as the jackpot winner, one player from France grabbed €1.2 million after matching five main numbers plus one Lucky Star. It was also a good night for the UK, which could boast four of the six participants who matched five main numbers to win £48,998 (€67,722).

The other prizes given away ranged from £3.10 (€4.30) for matching two main numbers to £3,585 (€4,955) for matching four main numbers plus two Lucky Stars. Portugal’s success now takes their tally of jackpot winners up to 59, one clear of the UK. The UK had previously drawn level with Portugal in joint third place when the top prize was last scooped on Tuesday 12th April.
