EuroMillions Results for Tuesday 22nd December 2015

Tuesday’s EuroMillions draw saw more than 23 million entries into the game as participants sought to boost their bank balances with just days to go before Christmas. The jackpot, worth £11.1 million (€15 million) escaped their grasp, but millions of ticket holders still scooped great cash prizes. For UK players, there was an added incentive, as Mega Friday became Mega Week and five bumper prizes were on offer.

The winning numbers were 18, 19, 20, 40 and 41 with Lucky Stars 7 and 10. Five players - two from the UK, two from France and one from Portugal - are now £167,583 (€221,867) richer after matching five main numbers and one Lucky Star, while an additional six players from Spain, France, Portugal and the UK matched five main numbers to scoop £46,551 (€61,629) each. The remaining 1.6 million prizes won on the night were worth between £3.20 (€4.30) for matching two main numbers and £4,504 (€5,964) for matching four main numbers and both Lucky Stars drawn.

Players in the supplementary EuroMillions games also did exceptionally well, with two Irish participants grabbing €500,000 each after matching the five numbers drawn in EuroMillions Plus. A single French ticket holder is now €1 million better off after matching the winning My Million code, while five UK EuroMillions players have now landed the first batch of Mega Week prizes, winning themselves a bumper £1 million and private chalet holiday.
