EuroMillions Results for Tuesday 31st March 2015

The last day of March brought a sense of urgency to tonight’s EuroMillions draw, which saw a ticket holder from the UK win the jackpot just in time before the new month starts tomorrow. Countless players across nine countries competed for the top prize, which had reached a dizzying £53.1 million (€73.5 million) over the course of three and a half weeks.

Just over two million participants snapped up great cash prizes apart from the second UK EuroMillions winner of 2015. The winning line was 8, 20, 24, 28 and 49 with Lucky Stars 8 and 9, with a single continental participant snagging €1,277,754 for matching five main numbers and one Lucky Star. An additional nine players matched all five main numbers to win £36,534 (€47,324) each.

All other participants snapped up cash prizes worth between £3.20 (€4.20) for matching two main numbers and £3,574 (€4,629) for matching four main numbers and both Lucky Stars. The UK had by far and away the largest prize pool out of all nine participating national lotteries, with 517,191 participants taking home a cool £57 million in the main draw in addition to £1 million on Millionaire Maker. Spain came in second tonight, with 434,852 ticket holders grabbing a collective €3.1 million.
