Fifth EuroMillions Jackpot for Britain

A British ticket has won yet another EuroMillions jackpot, which means that the last five jackpots have all been won by players in the UK. The numbers that made this latest win possible on Friday 16 March were 03, 04, 12, 23 and 50, along with the Lucky Star numbers 04 and 07. One of those main numbers – the number 50 – had previously been highlighted as being most overdue to make an appearance, and the jackpot winner will definitely be very glad that it did! The jackpot had a final value of €45,758,710, so the sterling equivalent that will be collected by the winner is £38,034,640.

Six tickets missed out on a share of the jackpot by just one Lucky Star number, and each of those won €299,014 (£205,015) as a consolation, whilst nine tickets won €66,448 (£45,559) for matching five main numbers only. 96 tickets matched four main numbers and both Lucky Stars to win €3,115 (£2,136) each and another 1,638 tickets won €159 (£109) each by matching four main numbers and one Lucky Star. The winning Millionaire Raffle number on Friday was JHH770251, and that enabled yet another Brit to achieve millionaire status with a prize of £1,000,000.

Now that the EuroMillions jackpot has been won, the jackpot for the next game this Tuesday 20 March has been reset to the base value of €15 million (around £12 million). The most overdue numbers have been revised following the appearance of the number 50 last Friday, and so the most overdue main numbers are now 35, 18, 49, 40 and 21, whilst the most overdue Lucky Star numbers are 05 and 01.
