French Player Wins €160 Million EuroMillions Jackpot

The winning numbers for Friday 4th November were 2, 11, 37, 45 and 47, plus Lucky Stars 2 and 3. One ticket matched all the numbers, while another 2.8 million players across Europe snapped up prizes beneath the jackpot.

Most Successful EuroMillions Countries

The UK has dominated EuroMillions this year in terms of big jackpots, landing all five of the previous nine-figure prizes to be paid out in 2022.

But the latest win leaves France and the UK level on 120 jackpot wins again overall, making them the joint-most successful countries in EuroMillions history.

Not much information has been disclosed about the French winner yet, but it has been revealed that the winning ticket was sold in Pas-de-Calais. It is the largest prize ever won in this department in northern France, and ranks as the fifth-biggest win for a French player.

Top of the list of French winners was the young woman from Tahiti in French Polynesia, who landed a jackpot worth €220 million in October 2021.

The latest winner has 60 days to claim their prize. The deadline is different in each nation, but you have to come forward in the country where the ticket was purchased.

It had only taken the jackpot 11 draws to build up to €160 million, and another nine-figure prize is sure to be on offer soon even if there’s another winner in the next week or two. That’s because a Superdraw will take place on 2nd December, with €130 million in the pot.
