Since EuroMillions started in 2004, France has had 71 jackpot winners, making it accountable for 25.9% of the total number of EuroMillions jackpot wins and putting it at the top of the EuroMillions jackpot winners list. Spain, which was also one of only three countries to initially play EuroMillions, comes in second with 58 jackpot winners.
In the remaining prize tiers for Friday’s draw, two UK ticket holders matched all five main numbers and one Lucky Star to each win €917,680 / £666,220. The other prizes won in Friday’s draw ranged from €3.90 / £2.80 for matching two main numbers up to €50,982 / £37,012 for matching five main numbers.
