Two tickets managed to match all five main numbers as well as one of the Lucky Stars to secure a hefty second-tier prize of €513,169 each, and four tickets won €85,528 each by matching the five main numbers without either Lucky Star. There were 27 winning tickets at the fourth-tier prize level, and each of those won €6,335 (£4,476) by matching four main numbers and both Lucky Star numbers.
The total number of prizes won in the EuroMillions game on Tuesday was 1,588,242, and although that is a very impressive figure, we can expect an even greater number of prizes to be won this Friday. Whether the rollover jackpot is one of the prizes that will be landed in the next game remains to be seen.
None of the most overdue numbers previously highlighted were drawn on Tuesday, so the most overdue main numbers are still 09, 41, 47, 32 and 40, and the most overdue Lucky Star numbers are 01 and 08. The good news for stats fans is that one of the most often picked numbers (the main number 38) was drawn, which further strengthens its status on our EuroMillions Statistics page.
In Ireland, the EuroMillions Plus results on Tuesday 18 September were 08, 18, 28, 30 and 47. No ticket matched all of those numbers and so no player won the top prize of €500,000, but 23 tickets matched four numbers to win €2,000 each. Another 1,133 tickets won €20 each by matching three of the numbers.
With €26 million to play for in the EuroMillions game this Friday, no player can afford to ignore the opportunity that lies ahead. Click here to buy your lottery tickets online and good luck with your numbers!
