One Ticket Wins Festive Jackpot

Whilst only one person won the EuroMillions jackpot, there were plenty of other EuroMillions prizes won on Christmas Eve. Eight players won €552,305 (around £388,384) by matching five main numbers and just one of the two Lucky Star numbers. 10 players won €125,388 (around £88,174) each by matching five main numbers only, and 177 players matched four main numbers and both Lucky Stars to pick up €5,060 (around £3,558) each. In total, more than 2.34 million EuroMillions prizes were won.

The EuroMillions jackpot has now been reset, giving players the chance to play for €15 million (around £12 million) this Friday 31 December. This Friday is of course New Year’s Eve, so the next EuroMillions game gives players everywhere the chance to enter 2011 as a brand new EuroMillionaire.
