Normally EuroMillions jackpot winners make their claim as soon as possible, so by this winner delaying in making their claim it has meant that this is now one of the biggest pieces of EuroMillions news for this year. This has meant that lottery officials are stopping at no costs to locate this top prize winner with their £63.8 million.
Last Friday two billboards were displayed in the Market Square in Hitchin which read ‘Are you the lucky £63.8 million jackpot winner?’ to remind people to check their tickets to see if they are the winners. However, a week later there still hasn’t been anyone come forward so it is now thought that the winner could have been on holiday so today (Friday 29th June) officials have set up camp in Luton Airport to see if they can catch the person who has won this life-changing amount of money when they arrive back in the UK.
Whether this EuroMillions winner will come forward any time soon remains to be seen, but this jackpot win must be claimed before the 5th December otherwise it will expire and the amount will be added into the pot that goes towards Good Causes.
