Second EuroMillions Jackpot Win of the Year for Spain

In Friday’s EuroMillions draw, one lucky Spanish ticket holder matched the winning numbers to scoop the entire €25 / £21 million jackpot. This is the second time this year that a Spanish ticket holder has won the jackpot, bringing top prize winnings for Spain to €90.4 million so far this year.

The winning jackpot ticket was sold in Campo de Criptana region of Ciudad Real, in the province Santa Ana and the winner has yet to come forward to claim their new found fortune. This win now puts France and Spain on a par with two jackpot wins each so far this year.

Following the jackpot winner, there were a further 2,382,502 ticket holders who won a prize in Friday’s draw. In the second prize tier, one ticket holder from France and another from the UK matched all five main numbers to each win €773,660 / £553,637 while in the Match 5 tier ten players, including three from Spain, each won €51,577 / £36,909. The full prize breakdown from Friday’s draw can be found on the EuroMillions Results page.

As the top prize was won in Friday’s draw, the jackpot has reset to €15 / £12 million for tomorrow night’s draw.
