Triple Rollover Excites EuroMillions Players

A triple rollover jackpot this Friday 24 August has got plenty of EuroMillions players excited, and with a predicted jackpot of around €46 million (around £36 million) to be won, it isn’t difficult to see why. We have already watched one British ticket win €190 million this month, so players across Europe are now hoping that they can do something similar. The €46 million on offer this Friday isn’t quite as nice as €190 million, but it is more than most people would earn in several dozen lifetimes, so having a shot at winning it is something that no lottery fan will want to miss.

For those of you who bought a ticket or two for the previous game on Tuesday 22 August, the EuroMillions results were 04, 05, 17, 38 and 48, and the Lucky Stars were 03 and 04. The jackpot had a final value of €34.94 million (£27.63 million) but because it wasn’t landed, the biggest winners were found on the second-tier, where two tickets won €601,468 (£445,441) each by matching five main numbers and one Lucky Star. One third-tier prize winner matched five main numbers only to win €400,979 (£296,961).

36 tickets matched four main numbers and both Lucky Stars to win €5,569 (£4,124) each, and 772 tickets won €227 (£168) each by matching four main numbers and just one Lucky Star. The total number of prizes won in the Tuesday EuroMillions game was 1,938,453, and in the UK the Millionaire Raffle number MGM115248 was worth £1 million to the owner of the matching ticket.

On Monday we highlighted both the most overdue numbers and the most often picked numbers for the EuroMillions game, and whilst none of the overdue numbers appeared, the main number 04 and the Lucky Star 03 were both among those most often picked.
