Third Big Win of 2024
The latest jackpot success follows hot on the heels of two other big wins in January. A French player scooped €87 million on Tuesday 16th January, before a Belgian ticket holder won €17 million in the very next draw.
The jackpot was then quickly increased to €130 million for a Superdraw on Friday 26th January. It rolled over on the night but has now been snapped up at the next attempt.
Superdraws only happen a few times a year, and often pave the way for some of EuroMillions’ biggest-ever jackpots. A special Megadraw in December 2023, for example, saw the jackpot increased to €200 million. It rolled over a couple of times and then an Austrian player won a record €240 million a week later. The jackpot cap was subsequently raised to €250 million.
After the latest big win it is already shaping up to be an exciting year for EuroMillions players. There will also be more Superdraws to come and there is a possibility that a new record could be set.
You can take part in EuroMillions draws every Tuesday and Friday night. Check afterwards to find out if you are a winner.
