6 players matched all five main numbers and one of the Lucky Star numbers to win a consolation prize of €522,979 (around £360,606) each. Whilst winning just over half a million euros isn’t nearly as exciting as winning tens of millions, we’re confident that those who landed a second-tier prize were still delighted with the experience.
9 players matched the five main numbers only to win €98,942 (around £68,223) each, and another 95 players matched four of the main numbers and both Lucky Stars to win a fourth-tier prize of €6,695 (around £4,617) each. And of course, one player in the UK won a prize of £1,000,000 by matching the Millionaire Raffle number, which was NKZ333918.
The odds of winning a double rollover jackpot are exactly the same as they are for winning a regular EuroMillions jackpot because the rules don’t change one bit. Pick five main numbers and two Lucky Star numbers and if you match all of them the jackpot will be yours. And if there is more than one ticket which achieves the jackpot-winning feat, the jackpot prize funds will be shared equally between those tickets.
Although players have many different ways of choosing their EuroMillions numbers, the method employed also has no effect on the odds of winning. This means that you can choose your own numbers, play a random selection by taking advantage of the Lucky Dip feature or enter numbers gleaned from our EuroMillions Statistics page, and your odds of winning will still be the same as they are for everyone else.
The double rollover jackpot is sure to get plenty of people excited this week, so click here to buy your tickets online and good luck in the draw!
A EuroMillions Double Rollover this Friday
The EuroMillions lottery will be offering a double rollover jackpot of around €43 million (around £36 million) this Friday 25 February after no player was lucky enough to win the jackpot in the most recent draw. The EuroMillions results on Friday 18 February were 02, 03, 15, 45 and 49, and the Lucky Star numbers were 05 and 09. Although the jackpot itself eluded players for the second week running, over 1.83 million smaller EuroMillions prizes were won, and we dare say there could be even more winners in the coming double rollover game!
