EuroMillions Jackpot Worth £47 Million Won by British and Austrian Players

The winning numbers for the Friday 15th September draw were 12, 14, 21, 45, 48, with Lucky Stars 8 and 11. In total, there were over two million winners who won prizes, so make sure to check out the Draw Results page to find out if you are one of them.

It’s the second time Austria won the jackpot this year as on 1st August, a single ticket holder took home €72 million. Unlike other participating countries which normally have a claiming period of a few months, Friday’s Austrian winner will have three years to claim their prize.

On the other hand, the UK had three times more winners this year. “This win makes it six lucky UK EuroMillions jackpot winners so far this year,” Andy Carter, Senior Winners’ Advisor at The National Lottery, said.

The British ticket holder did not waste much time and immediately claimed their prize.
