In a special edition of the Millionaire Maker, a series of extra winning codes will be selected at random, guaranteeing that 10 lucky ticket holders will each receive £1 million.
How Does The Millionaire Maker Work?
The Millionaire Maker is a UK-only game that takes the form of a raffle. Everyone who buys a EuroMillions ticket in the country is entered automatically - the cost is included in the price of a ticket.
For every line of numbers played in the main draw, you also receive a raffle code consisting of four letters and five numbers. You can’t choose your own code - it is generated by the lottery computer to make sure that each one is unique.
In a regular draw, one code is randomly selected. Match all nine characters exactly, with all the letters and digits in the correct positions, and you win £1 million. Only the codes that have been generated are entered into the draw, so someone always wins.
Special draws such as the one on 15th September make even more millionaires. With 10 winning codes to be selected, you have a much better chance of winning than when there’s just one.
The exact odds of winning cannot be confirmed before a draw because it depends entirely on how many tickets are sold, but your chances of landing £1 million in the Millionaire Maker are far greater than your chances of winning the EuroMillions jackpot.
It is also possible to win a EuroMillions prize and a Millionaire Maker prize on the same night. You can use the EuroMillions Checker to compare both your main numbers and raffle code.
The enhanced Millionaire Maker draw is part of an exciting month for EuroMillions players, with a €130 million Superdraw also lined up for Friday 29th September. Make sure not to miss out on any draw - pick up a ticket from a retailer or take part online.
