The jackpot had been climbing since a Portuguese participant won €36.5 million (£33 million) on Tuesday 8th August, but the run of three rollovers was brought to an end as the numbers 3, 10, 12, 17 and 27, with Lucky Stars 3 and 5 were drawn in Paris.
Another three French players, along with four from the UK, were among the 12 winners in the second tier who picked up £37,653 (€64,840) each after matching five main numbers plus one Lucky Star. There were a further eight ticket holders, including four from Spain, who matched five main numbers to win £13,154 (€22,653) each.
The other prizes won ranged between £2.20 (€3.80) for matching two main numbers and £408.50 (€703.50) for matching four main numbers plus two Lucky Stars. Take a look at the EuroMillions Results page for a full prize breakdown, plus information about all the supplementary games from across Europe.
France has now created 86 jackpot winners since EuroMillions was launched in 2004, putting it four clear of any other country. Spain is second on 82, while the UK (67) and Portugal (66) remain locked in a tussle for third place. Visit the EuroMillions Winners page for the complete list.
The EuroMillions jackpot will reset to £15 million (€17 million) for Friday night’s draw, presenting players with another opportunity to snap up fantastic prizes. You can buy a ticket from any authorised retailer in a participating country, or choose your numbers online. Good luck!
