Fifth Consecutive Rollover for EuroMillions Jackpot!

The EuroMillions jackpot rolled for a fifth time on Friday, which means players can now look forward to playing for a massive €62 million (around £50 million) this Tuesday 11 December. The EuroMillions results for Friday 7 December were 10, 16, 18, 31 and 42, with the numbers 02 and 05 appearing as the Lucky Stars. Although the jackpot itself rolled over, there were millions of winners across the twelve consolation prize levels, and the total number of prizes landed was 3,023,419.

Four tickets matched all five of the main numbers drawn as well as one of the Lucky Star numbers to win €458,226 (£331,669) each, which is a very nice chunk of cash to acquire just before the holidays. 11 tickets matched the five main numbers only to win €55,543 (£40,202) each, whilst 78 tickets picked up €3,916 (£2,835) each by matching four main numbers and both Lucky Stars.

At the lower prize levels, 1,358 tickets matched four main numbers and one Lucky Star to win €196 (£142) each, and 2,443 tickets won €109 (£79) each by matching four main numbers only. Even tickets that only managed to match two main numbers picked up a prize of €4 (£3) each, so cause for celebration was plentiful on Friday. In the UK, one player managed to win themselves millionaire status by matching the Millionaire Raffle number YVM625645 for a prize of £1,000,000.

We haven’t mentioned our EuroMillions statistics for a couple of news items, so this could be a good time to bring you up to speed with the situation as it stands. The most overdue main numbers are currently 46, 12, 13, 39 and 34, and the most overdue Lucky Star numbers are 08 and 11. For those of you who prefer to follow the most often picked numbers, the main numbers to watch are 50, 19, 04, 12 and 38, and the most often picked Lucky Star numbers are 03 and 05.

It has now been five draws since the EuroMillions jackpot was last won, and there are just four draws remaining before Christmas Day. The potential is there for a new jackpot winner to be created in each of those draws, but maybe fate has something else lined up. Click here to buy your tickets for the €62 million game this Tuesday and good luck!
