EuroMillions Jackpot Snowballs to €76 Million!

Wintry weather is making its presence felt across most parts of Europe, so it seems fitting that the EuroMillions jackpot continued rolling like a snowball down a mountainside on Tuesday. The main numbers drawn on Tuesday 11 December were 01, 04, 09, 43 and 50, and the Lucky Star numbers were 06 and 08. Because no player was able to match all of those numbers, the next jackpot this Friday has an estimated value of €76 million (that’s around £61 million for UK players). The big question now is whether the jackpot will continue to snowball or whether someone will be lucky enough to stop the rollover action and enjoy an avalanche of wealth in the process!

There were three tickets that matched all five main numbers and one of the Lucky Star numbers on Tuesday, and each of those won €432,597 as a result. That’s a massive sum of money no matter how you look at it, so well done to those concerned and we hope you enjoy every cent of your prize! Another three tickets matched all five main numbers without either of the Lucky Stars to win a much smaller (but still quite substantial) prize of €144,199 (£101,230) each.

43 entries matched four of the main numbers drawn as well as both Lucky Star numbers to win €5,030 (£3,531) each, and at the fifth-tier prize level 903 entries won €209 (£147) each by matching four main numbers and one Lucky Star. There were over 2.13 million prizes landed in total, and in the UK the Millionaire Raffle number ZVX850594 gave one player a pre-Christmas bonus worth £1,000,000!

Having just mentioned the Millionaire Raffle game, we should remind UK players that the games scheduled for Christmas Day and New Year’s Day will each create 25 new millionaires instead of just one. If you enter your EuroMillions numbers today for the next six draws in advance then you will guarantee your participation in those special games as well as in all of the other EuroMillions and Millionaire Raffle games between now and Tuesday 1 January, 2013.

We will no doubt talk more about the Christmas Day and New Year’s Day EuroMillions games in a future news item, but right now it makes sense to focus on the €76 million that is up for grabs this Friday. Head this way to enter your numbers and if you get lucky you just might be the player who stops the EuroMillions jackpot snowball in its tracks!
