Tuesday EuroMillions Jackpot Worth €85 Million

The Tuesday EuroMillions jackpot this week will be worth an estimated €85 million (around £69 million) after the Friday game gave players a seventh consecutive rollover. To put the amount of money now on offer into perspective, if a player won the €85 million outright this Tuesday and invested it in a vehicle giving an annual return of just 3% after taxes, he or she would enjoy an income of over €2.5 million every year. That’s an exciting scenario, but what is even more exciting is the fact that anyone who buys a ticket for the EuroMillions game this Tuesday will have a chance to experience it for real!

Although the jackpot rolled over last Friday 14 December, there were still millions of players who emerged from the game at least a little richer than they had been beforehand. Four tickets matched all five of the main numbers (which were 10, 11, 29, 40 and 43) as well as one of the Lucky Star numbers (03 or 11) to win a very useful €495,632 (£352,696) each. 16 other tickets won €41,303 (£29,391) each by matching five main numbers only.

There were 58 winning tickets at the fourth-tier prize level, and each of those won €5,697 (£4,054) by matching four main numbers and both of the Lucky Stars. 1,188 tickets matched four main numbers plus one Lucky Star to win €243 (£173) each and 2,537 tickets matched four main numbers only to win €113 (£81) each. The total number of EuroMillions prizes won was 3,154,914, and the Millionaire Raffle number that made one UK player £1 million richer on Friday was BWH661079.

Those of you who like to follow our EuroMillions statistics will be interested to note that the most overdue main numbers are currently 46, 12, 13, 39 and 34, and the most overdue Lucky Star numbers are 09 and 10. Whether any of those numbers will help someone to win the €85 million jackpot this Tuesday remains to be seen, but they certainly have just as much chance of appearing as any others.
